Ryan Shaffer graduated from The Ohio State University
with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, specializing in Photography and Film Studies. While at the university Ryan studied under
notable photographer Tony Mendoza and Film Historian Ron Green. He then went on to work for Ohio Government Telecommunications,
in which he directed and edited educational television programs for the Ohio Channel, PBS. In 2005, Ryan relocated to
Los Angeles and began working full time as an editor for documentaries and feature films, as well as online content for Maxim
Magazine's website department. In his "spare time" he also directs his own personal short films and documentaries; and has
also been involved in independent music production for many years.
